Ever since I held a crayon, the allure of capturing the world visually has been my constant companion. This passion for drawing found a powerful direction thanks to my engineer father. Childhood trips to building sites and hands-on involvement in construction projects awakened a deep fascination with architecture.
However, while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architecture at the University of Westminster in London, I encountered a dilemma. 3D modeling software, a key tool, felt like a barrier to creativity. The hours spent crafting digital models often resulted in visuals that lacked the soul and impact I craved. My hand-drawn sketches, on the other hand, consistently received praise for their clarity and communication power. This is where the world of digital hand-drawn rendering opened up.
Enrolling in Anna Ktkova's "And She Draws Big" academy became a turning point. It taught me to bridge the gap between my artistic talent and the digital realm. Suddenly, my architectural concepts and professional work truly came alive. Hand-drawn renderings not only facilitated seamless communication with colleagues and clients but also captivated non-architectural audiences in a way generic computer renderings simply couldn't.
